Formulated as an all-in-one product for cloth nappies, Figgy nappy wash & soak will simplify your wash routine. Tried and tested with multiple cloth babes and 1000's of nappy washes, this nappy wash balances great washing performance with the safest ingredients possible. Because we think those little tushies and harsh chemicals shouldn't mix.
Other wash routines can have you using harsh detergent surfactants which come with strong fragrances and frequent use of chlorine bleach - none of which are ideal for everyday cleaning or delicate baby skin.
Any new routine needs great results and a routine you can follow. Use this nappy wash in your machine for general washing, or in a bucket or tub for when more intensive soaking is needed! Read our info sheet linked below!

Free from: Detergents, SLS, SLES, Chlorine bleach, enzymes, dyes, fragrance and additives
How to use Nappy wash and soak
Nappy wash and soak is best used in warm to hot water and on a longer cycle with correct machine loading to ensure good agitation. Suitable to use in both top and front loading machines. Suitable for all nappy types, but not recommended for woollen nappy covers.
Tip: pre-treat poop and barrier cream stains with Figgy’s bar soap prior to washing.
Washing machine daily prewash: Remove all solid waste, wash with warm to hot water using 1-2 Tablespoons per 6-8 nappies
Main wash: Add 1-2 tablespoons per 6-8 nappies to your washing machine – best used on a hot wash on the longest cycle.
Soaking: For bucket soaking add 2 tablespoons per half bucket of hot water, soak for at least 2 hours or overnight.

No, it is fragrance free.
Yes, it’s best practice with any very soiled washing to rinse away the worst of the mess first before really getting stuck into the cleaning. And nappies are dirty washing! A prewash makes your main wash more effective. The washing chemicals have less soiling to remove, which over all this gives you a better result as it can target deeper soiling because the superficial soiling is already removed.
A great alternative for cloth nappy parents who don’t want to use chemicals. The nappies came out pristine.
This is honestly the best! I’ve tried a few things before this for my baby’s nappies, but she kept coming up in rashes from where the nappy would rub on her back, tummy and legs ! Since swapping 3 months ago we have had no extra nappy rashes (except for the occasional ones from teething but those seem to be inevitable) and her skin is much happier
The nappies have come out the wash much whiter and softer too. I’ll be buying this again
